Home Town: Atherton, California

Cheryl is of Philipino, Irish and Russian descent, growing up in California. She gave up ballet at age 11, started ballroom dancing, and never looked back!

This 2005 World Cup Rising Star Latin Champion, has been twice nominated for an Emmy Award for choreography and Art Direction, and has also introduced her own signature clothing line!

In 2008, Cheryl founded a dance company called C.B. Dance L.L.C., and currently has 3 studios in California.

The first studio opened in San Francisco at the former Metronome Ballroom. The second, is the Starlite Ballroom which re-opened in Mountainview, California, and the third is in Laguna Niguel. Actively teaching, her motto is Dance For Life!
